At Translation and Interpretation Services LLC, we prioritize our clients and are dedicated to providing high-quality translation, transcription, and interpretation services. We recognize that circumstances may arise that require you to cancel or reschedule a service. This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions applicable to such cancellations.
General Cancellation Policy
- Notification of Cancellation
All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email or another agreed-upon communication method. Cancellations will only be considered effective once confirmed by Translation and Interpretation Services LLC. - Time-Sensitive Nature of Services
Given that our services rely on prior preparation and allocation of resources, cancellations made on short notice may incur fees. Specific terms are detailed below according to the type of service provided.
Cancellation Policy for Translation, Transcription, and Review Services
- Cancellation Before Work Commences
If you cancel a project before any work has begun, no cancellation fees will apply, and you will receive a full refund of any advance payments made. - Cancellation After Work Commences
If you cancel after work has begun, the following fees will apply:- Partial Work Completed: You will be charged for the portion of the project that has been completed up to the cancellation point.
- Full Work Completed: If the project is fully completed at the time of cancellation, you will be charged the total project fee, and no refund will be issued.
Cancellation Policy for Interpretation Services
- On-Site Interpretation Services
For on-site interpretation services, the following cancellation fees apply:- More than 48 hours before the scheduled event: No cancellation fee; a full refund of any deposits or payments will be issued.
- Between 24 to 48 hours before the scheduled event: 50% of the agreed fee will be charged.
- Less than 24 hours before the scheduled event: 100% of the agreed fee will be charged.
- Remote Interpretation Services
For remote interpretation services (telephonic or video), the following cancellation terms apply:- More than 24 hours before the scheduled session: No cancellation fee.
- Less than 24 hours before the scheduled session: 50% of the agreed fee will be charged.
- Less than 12 hours before the scheduled session: 100% of the agreed fee will be charged.
Unforeseen Circumstances
In cases of cancellation due to factors beyond your control (such as illness, natural disasters, technical issues, or other unforeseen events), we will collaborate with you to reschedule the service without penalties, provided that appropriate evidence of the circumstances is submitted.
Refunds
Refunds for cancellations will be processed within seven business days from the date of cancellation confirmation. Refunds will be issued using the same payment method originally utilized unless otherwise agreed upon.
Rescheduling Policy
- Rescheduling Translation, Transcription, and Review Services
You may reschedule any of these services without penalty, provided that the new deadline is reasonable and mutually agreed upon. - Rescheduling Interpretation Services
Interpretation services (on-site or remote) may be rescheduled at no additional charge if notice is provided more than 24 hours before the scheduled service. For rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the scheduled time, the cancellation policy fees will apply.
